Good Boy: A Haunting Tale from a Dog's Perspective

Shudder recently acquired the distribution rights for the supernatural thriller Good Boy, a unique haunted house story told from the perspective of the family dog. The film had a wide theatrical release on October 3rd and is now available for digital viewing. Good Boy will start streaming on Shudder on Friday, November 21st.
Directed by Ben Leonberg, Good Boy follows Indy, a dog who embarks on a new adventure with his owner Todd in a creepy old house in the country. Indy senses invisible presences, receives warnings from a ghostly dog, and must fight a dark influence that threatens Todd. The film stars Leonberg's own dog, Indy, along with human actors Larry Fessenden and Stuart Rudin.
Production of Good Boy involved extensive efforts to accommodate Indy's schedule and lack of training as an animal actor. The result is a realistic portrayal of a dog's reaction to a haunted house. Indy, a middle-aged retriever, makes his feature debut in Good Boy after appearing in the short film of the same name. The film is rated PG-13 for terror, bloody images, and strong language.
