Tate McRae's Grammy Nomination, Tour Finale, and Deluxe Album Announcement

Tate McRae recently had an eventful weekend, receiving her first Grammy nomination for the song "Just Keep Watching" from the F1 soundtrack. She also concluded her extensive tour in Los Angeles and announced the upcoming release of the deluxe edition of her album So Close to What, set to be released on Nov. 21 through RCA Records.

The deluxe edition of So Close to What will include new tracks, such as the hit song "Tit For Tat," which debuted at Number Three on the Billboard Hot 100. McRae expressed her excitement about sharing these additional songs with her fans to close out the SC2W era.

During her Miss Possessive Tour, McRae performed a total of 83 shows, including three nights at New York's Madison Square Garden. At the MTV VMAs, she delivered a memorable performance of the songs "Sports Car" and "Revolving Door" from So Close to What.

McRae's third album, So Close to What, was released in February 2025 and achieved the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking her first album to do so. In an interview, McRae explained that the album's title reflects her feelings of not always being present, trying to control everything, and navigating the complexities of being a young artist in the music industry.

She emphasized the importance of staying true to herself and her music, regardless of others' opinions, and expressed her confidence in the work she puts out into the world. The upcoming deluxe edition of So Close to What promises to offer fans more of McRae's captivating music and storytelling.
