The agreement includes sharing purse earnings equally between Coolmore and the remaining ownership partners, highlighting a partnership based on history, vision, and excellence.
Trained by Michael McCarthy, Journalism was acquired as a yearling for $825,000 and has amassed $3.4 million in earnings. His impressive resume includes victories in three Grade 1 stakes this year: the Santa Anita Derby, Preakness, and Haskell. Despite finishing as a runner-up in the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, and Pacific Classic (G1), Journalism has consistently showcased his talent on the racetrack. His most recent performance saw him secure a fourth-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Classic.
