Resolute Racing Announces Chelsey Stewart as New CEO: A Vision for Growth and Excellence in Horse Racing

Resolute Racing is excited to announce that Chelsey Stewart, the current Chief Operating Officer, will be taking on the role of CEO. Chelsey has been an integral part of the company's success, starting as the Director of Breeding and Bloodstock and later moving up to COO. Her expertise in horse racing and leadership skills make her a standout in the industry.

John Stewart, the owner of Resolute Racing, will continue to focus on managing MiddleGround Capital, a private equity firm he launched in 2018. With over $4 billion in assets under management, John's primary responsibilities lie with MGC. He will support and advise Chelsey and the team at Resolute Racing on strategic decisions and direction.

Resolute Racing is a family-owned business, with John's children, Andrew and Sarah, also taking on leadership roles within the company. The farm team, consisting of over 50 employees, is made up of experienced industry professionals who oversee the breeding operations. Chelsey has been working closely with Bradley Weisbord and Liz Crow's BSW/Crow team to manage the racing operations.

The Stewart family is dedicated to long-term investments in the thoroughbred horse racing industry. They recently acquired over 450 acres for an expansion of their Midway farm, which will include a state-of-the-art training center and facilities for retired and rescue horses. The family's commitment to the industry reflects their pride in contributing to the economic future of Kentucky.

As Chelsey steps into the role of CEO, supported by John and the senior team, Resolute Racing looks forward to continued success and growth in the horse racing industry. The farm is gearing up to hire a team to manage the new facilities and operations, further solidifying their presence in the industry.
