Gov’t Mule Rocks Washington D.C. with Aerosmith Tribute at Mule-O-Ween Concert

Gov’t Mule recently performed their annual Mule-O-Ween concert at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. The band, led by guitarist Warren Haynes, treated the audience to a set filled with Aerosmith songs, some of which featured vocalist Marc LaBelle. The concert was dedicated to legendary Philadelphia rock radio host Pierre Robert.
The second set kicked off with tracks from Aerosmith's early albums, including their self-titled debut and "Get Your Wings." Marc LaBelle joined Gov’t Mule on stage for iconic Aerosmith hits like "Back In The Saddle," "Sweet Emotion," "Dream On," and "Walk This Way." The band closed the set with a powerful rendition of "Mama Kin."
For the encore, Gov’t Mule surprised the audience with a blues classic, "Train Kept A Rollin’," a song famously covered by Aerosmith. The band's Aerosmith-themed Mule-O-Ween show will continue in Philadelphia as part of their Back In The Saddle Tour.
