Sean 'Diddy' Combs Transferred to FCI Fort Dix: A Look at His Journey and Rehabilitation

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been moved to the federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to serve the remainder of his four-year sentence. The Bureau of Prisons spokesperson confirmed the transfer to FCI Fort Dix, a low-security prison for men with around 4,000 inmates. Diddy is scheduled for release on May 8, 2028, but could be released earlier for good behavior and program completion during his incarceration.
Diddy had been in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, since his arrest in September 2024. Despite pleading not guilty, he was convicted on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution and acquitted on other counts in July. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison on October 3, with credit for time served, a fine, and supervised release.
Following his sentencing, Diddy's attorneys requested that he serve the rest of his time at FCI Fort Dix for drug abuse treatment and family visitation. In a letter to the judge, Diddy expressed remorse, taking responsibility for his actions and seeking mercy. He mentioned a spiritual reset and commitment to a drug-free, non-violent life, asking for another chance and stating that the experience has changed him forever.
