Metallica's Kirk Hammett, Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee, and U2's Adam Clayton are participating in Julien's "Played, Worn, & Torn" charity auction on November 20th and 21st at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville. The auction will benefit MusiCares, Teenage Cancer America, Gibson Gives, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The "Kirk Hammett Collection" includes over 150 guitars, awards, and stage-played instruments. Tommy Lee is offering memorabilia and instruments, while Adam Clayton's collection features prized bass guitars and Fender Jazz Basses from the 1960s to 1970s.

Other auction highlights include items associated with Ace Frehley, Keith Richards, The Beatles, John Coltrane, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, and B.B. King. The Gibson Gives Guitar Collection includes a custom-built Gibson CEO4 played and signed by Hammett.

Julien's Auctions co-founder Martin Nolan expressed excitement about the extraordinary artist collections in the auction, stating that the instruments and artifacts represent the soul of music history. Bidding is currently open on the Julien's Auctions website for the live auction in Nashville.
