Victorious Spinoff 'Hollywood Arts' Greenlit by Netflix: What to Expect in the New Series

Netflix has greenlit the spinoff series "Hollywood Arts," a continuation of the popular show "Victorious." The new series will feature 26 episodes and will premiere on Netflix in 2026 before being released on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. Daniella Monet, who starred in "Victorious," will return to play Trina Vega and also serve as an executive producer. Production for "Hollywood Arts" is scheduled to start soon in Vancouver.
The original "Victorious" series, which aired from 2010 to 2013, is currently available on Netflix and Paramount+. The show has garnered 45 million views on Netflix since the beginning of 2024. The new cast members for "Hollywood Arts" include Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm, with Yvette Nicole Brown making a guest appearance.
In "Hollywood Arts," Trina Vega, portrayed by Daniella Monet, returns to her former high school as an unqualified substitute teacher. She finds herself clashing with and inspiring a new generation of talented students at Hollywood's elite performing arts school. The series will be written and executive produced by Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin, with Jonathan Judge directing the pilot episode. Paramount Television Studios is producing the show.
This spinoff marks the second from "Victorious," following "Sam & Cat," which featured Arianna Grande and Jennette McCurdy. Notably, the creator of "Victorious," Dan Schneider, is not involved in "Hollywood Arts." Schneider parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018 due to allegations of misconduct and creating a toxic work environment. "Hollywood Arts" aims to continue the legacy of "Victorious" with a new generation of talented actors and engaging storytelling.
