Immerse Yourself in Bob Marley's World: A Sound Experience at Mandalay Bay

Experience the immersive world of Bob Marley: Hope Road at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV, where music, dance, live performances, and visuals come together to tell the reggae legend's story. Sound designer Jason Pritchard and Technology West Group collaborated to create a seamless sound experience across six interconnected spaces. The project required a sound system that could deliver impact while blending into the storytelling, leading them to choose Meyer Sound for its exceptional quality and ease of use.
The compressed timeline of the project presented challenges, but the Meyer Sound system proved to be a reliable choice. The distributed system includes a variety of compact point source loudspeakers, subwoofers, and low-frequency control elements to enhance the reggae experience. The system's design allows for a powerful and immersive sound experience in each room, with the low end carrying both the groove and the weight of the message.
One of the creative integrations in the show is a Volkswagen microbus in the Trenchtown room, equipped with Meyer Sound speakers that deliver an impressive audio experience. The finale features a massive 3D LED video wall paired with an audio design inspired by Meyer Sound's Ultra Reflex screen channel sound system, creating a unique and captivating audiovisual experience. The entire multiroom system is managed through Meyer Sound's NADIA integrated digital audio platform, providing flexibility in playback, routing, and partitioning resources across multiple rooms.
With Meyer Sound's innovative technology and the expertise of the sound design team, Bob Marley: Hope Road delivers a seamless and immersive sound experience that enhances the storytelling and brings the reggae legend's music to life in a whole new way.
