HBO Max Subscription Prices Increase: What You Need to Know

HBO Max has recently increased its subscription prices across all its plans. The new prices are as follows: HBO Max Basic With Ads now costs $10.99 per month and $109.99 annually, HBO Max Standard is priced at $18.49 per month and $184.99 annually, and HBO Max Premium is now $22.99 per month and $229.99 annually. These price changes apply to new subscriptions immediately.

Existing monthly subscribers will receive a 30-day notice before their plan renews, and the price increase will take effect from their next billing date on or after Nov. 20, 2025. Current yearly subscribers will not experience a price increase until their renewal date and will also be notified 30 days in advance.

HBO Max offers a wide range of content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, Turner Classic Movies, A24, Studio Ghibli, and more. The platform features popular HBO original series like The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, and Succession, as well as recent Emmy-winning series such as The Pitt, The Penguin, The White Lotus, The Last of Us, and Hacks.
