Empowering Youth Through Basketball: The Haylen Ayers Basketball Camp

A local basketball star from West Tennessee organized a basketball camp for the community with the support of Dynamix Physical Therapy of Milan. The Haylen Ayers Basketball Camp was held at USJ, where Haylen Ayers, a 17-year-old standout player and two-time Miss Basketball winner, led the camp for kids in grades 2nd through 8th. The camp focused on teaching fundamental basketball skills and important off-court values like teamwork, discipline, and communication. The event was attended by other star athletes and friends who assisted in coaching the participants.
Haylen Ayers, who is also a TSSAA State Champion and a top prospect for women's college basketball, emphasized the importance of not only improving basketball skills but also learning life lessons and growing as individuals. The camp aimed to provide a fun and educational experience for the young participants while giving back to the community that has supported Ayers throughout her basketball career. The camp was fully booked and offered free of charge to registered attendees.
