Apple TV and Peacock Premium Bundle: A New Entertainment Experience at a Discounted Price

Apple TV and NBCUniversal have joined forces to offer customers in the US a discounted bundle that includes Apple TV and Peacock Premium. The bundle is priced at $14.99 per month and includes access to both services. Customers can also opt for the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle, which is ad-free, for $19.99 per month. This partnership offers a 30% savings compared to subscribing to the services individually.

For Apple One Family or Apple One Premier bundle subscribers, there is an additional benefit. They can add Peacock Premium Plus at a 35% discount compared to its regular price. This exclusive deal is a first for Apple One members. The new bundle is set to launch in the United States on October 20, and users can sign up through either company's app or website.

To celebrate the launch, Peacock and Apple will be promoting each other's content. Peacock subscribers will have the opportunity to watch select Apple originals for free, including shows like Slow Horses, Stick, Silo, The Buccaneers, Foundation, Palm Royale, and Prehistoric Planet. Similarly, Apple TV users can enjoy free episodes of Peacock content such as Law & Order, Bel-Air, Twisted Metal, Love Island Games, Happy's Place, The Hunting Party, and Real Housewives of Miami.

Signing up for the bundle is a straightforward process. Users can log in to the Peacock and Apple TV apps using their respective accounts on any platform of their choice. Apple Services VP Oliver Schusser expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the goal of reaching more viewers with Apple TV's programming. This collaboration underscores Apple's commitment to expanding the reach of its original content and treating Apple TV as a standalone business.

While Apple has not disclosed its exact subscriber numbers, Eddy Cue mentioned in a recent interview that Apple TV has "significantly more" than 45 million subscribers. The partnership with NBCUniversal demonstrates Apple's dedication to growing its subscriber base and making its content accessible to a wider audience. The collaboration between Apple TV and Peacock offers customers a compelling entertainment option with a variety of content at a discounted price.
