Sammy Hagar's Epic Birthday Bash in Cabo San Lucas: Rock Legends, Concerts, and New Live Album

Sammy Hagar celebrated his birthday in style this week in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with a series of concerts featuring rock legends like Belinda Carlisle, Jerry Cantrell, Joey Belladonna, and Deen Castronovo. The Red Rocker performed a mix of his solo hits, Van Halen tracks, and Montrose classics at Cabo Wabo, along with some star-studded rock covers. Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains joined him on stage for a couple of shows, while Joey Belladonna and Deen Castronovo covered Journey songs. Belinda Carlisle also made an appearance for some electrifying performances. Hagar even gave a shoutout to David Lee Roth, his Van Halen predecessor, during the celebrations. Additionally, Hagar released a new live album, The Residency, from his recent Las Vegas shows and has more residency shows planned for 2026.
