Scrubs Revival: Bringing Back the Beloved Cast for Season 10

The popular medical drama Scrubs, created by Bill Lawrence, is making a comeback with a revival season after more than a decade since its original finale. The show, set in the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital, originally aired from 2001 to 2010 and featured a stellar cast including Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Judy Reyes, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins, and John C. McGinley. The ninth season, titled Med School, introduced new characters as the setting shifted to a medical school.
ABC announced the revival of Scrubs for season 10, bringing back some familiar faces while introducing new ones. Zach Braff, who played J.D. in the original series, is confirmed to return as one of the leads in the revival. Donald Faison, known for his role as Turk, will also reprise his character in the upcoming season. Sarah Chalke, who portrayed Elliot for eight seasons and made a guest appearance in season 9, is set to return as well.
Judy Reyes, who played Carla for the first eight seasons, will be back in the revival as a recurring cast member. John C. McGinley, who portrayed Cox in the original run of Scrubs, is also confirmed to return. Additionally, Robert Maschio, who previously played The Todd, and Aloma Wright, who portrayed Laverne, are part of the cast for season 10.
Unfortunately, Neil Flynn, who gained popularity for his role as Janitor in the original series, has not been announced as part of the revival cast. Similarly, Christa Miller, who played Jordan and is married to Bill Lawrence, the show's creator, has not been confirmed for the revival yet. Sam Lloyd, who portrayed Ted, is also not expected to return as he has shifted his career to law.
