The Twits: A Roald Dahl Classic Comes to Life on Netflix

Roald Dahl fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the 1980 novel, which is produced and directed by Phil Johnston. The animated film revolves around the despicable Mr. and Mrs. Twit, who run the absurd and dangerous amusement park called Twitlandia. When the Twits take control of their town, two courageous children, Beesha and Bubsy, along with a magical family of Muggle-Wumps, must outsmart the Twits to save the city.

Originally under Vanguard Animation's supervision, the film adaptation was taken over by Netflix after acquiring the Roald Dahl Story Company in April 2022. The movie is set to be released on October 17 with a runtime of 98 minutes. Fans in the US can expect access at midnight, while UK fans will have to wait until 8 am.

The voice cast includes Johnny Vegas and Margo Martindale as Mr. and Mrs. Twit, respectively. Natalie Portman voices Mary Muggle-Wump, Emilia Clarke as Pippa, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Ryan Lopez as Beesha and Bubsy. Other cast members include Jason Mantzoukas, Timothy Simons, Alan Tudyk, Nicole Byer, Mark Proksch, Rebecca Wisocky, and Charlie Berens.
