Firefighter Arrested for Allegedly Dumping Tampons on Ex-Boyfriend's Lawn

A firefighter from Orange County was recently arrested for allegedly dumping nearly 100 tampons on her ex-boyfriend's lawn. Gabrielle Franze, the firefighter in question, is facing misdemeanor stalking charges and has been placed on paid leave. The incident occurred in Volusia County, Florida, where the woman and her boyfriend discovered the tampons on their front yard on September 30. Security footage showed a dark-colored pickup truck passing by their house and a woman throwing tampons into the yard. The couple suspected that Franze, the man's ex-girlfriend, was behind the act due to her previous behavior and social media posts. When deputies confronted Franze, she initially denied being at the home but later admitted to being there, claiming the tampons were not her idea. As a result of the investigation, Franze was arrested for misdemeanor stalking and is currently out on bond. The Orange County Fire Rescue Department has confirmed Franze's employment but has placed her on paid leave pending further developments.
