The collaboration between the Grateful Dead and Nike continues with a new sneaker release in partnership with the University of Oregon's Oregon Ducks football team. The "Grateful Ducks" Air Max 90 sneakers feature a white canvas upper with colorful accents, including a rainbow tie-dye mudguard and stitching, yellow and sea foam green TPU eyelet and heel panels, and a fuzzy lightning bolt Nike Swoosh. The shoes also come with a branded rubber keychain featuring the Oregon Ducks mascot.
Priced at $140, the "Grateful Ducks" Air Max 90 sneakers are expected to sell out quickly, following the trend of the previous Grateful Dead collaboration with Nike. The 2020 collab retailed at $110 but now commands high resale prices, with some sizes exceeding $1,000.
While an official release date has not been confirmed, speculation points to a potential drop on October 24th, coinciding with the "Grateful Ducks" theme night at Autzen Stadium on October 25th.
