Nightmares Film Festival Unveils Full Lineup for 10th Anniversary Celebration

Nightmares Film Festival has just announced its full lineup for its 10th anniversary celebration. The event will showcase 18 feature films and 130 short films from October 16 to 19 at the Gateway Film Center in Columbus, Ohio. The lineup includes world premieres like Adrian Țofei’s We Put the World to Sleep and Kevin Lewis’ Pig Hill, along with other exciting films like Blood Barn, If It Bleeds, and LandLord.

Some of the films making their Midwest debut include Shelby Oaks by Chris Stuckmann and Tinsman Road by Robbie Banfitch. Brandon Christensen’s Bodycam and Tina Romero’s Queens of the Dead, introduced by Nina West, will also have their Midwest premieres. All films in competition will be vying for the Night Mare statuette designed by Tony Simione.

Festival co-founder Jason Tostevin expressed his excitement for the lineup, emphasizing the unique experiences and premieres that Nightmares Film Festival offers. The festival will also feature live events like the world’s first audience playthrough of Afar and the return of Midnight Mind F*ck with Todd Rohal’s F*ck My Son! V/H/S Halloween will have one of its two theatrical screenings at the festival, providing fans with a rare cinema experience.

In addition to the film screenings, Nightmares Film Festival will host craft workshops, panels, and late-night conversations for badge holders. The festival aims to create a vibrant and energetic atmosphere where fans and filmmakers can connect and feel like part of a historic movement.
