Victoria Hockey Stars Raeya Mackie and Sophia Dhami to Shine at 2025 National Women’s Under-18 Championship
Two Greater Victoria hockey players, Raeya Mackie and Sophia Dhami, have been selected to represent Team BC at the 2025 National Women’s Under-18 Championship in Newfoundland. Mackie, a defenseman from Langford, is excited to celebrate her 16th birthday while competing for a gold medal. She is looking forward to being a leader on the team this year after gaining valuable experience last year. Mackie is committed to Providence College for NCAA hockey in 2027-28. On the other hand, Dhami, a forward from Saanich, is thrilled to represent her province for the first time on the national stage. She aims to be a force on the ice and help her team claim gold at the championship. The team is focused and ready to compete in November.
