Former Marine Arrested for Deadly Shooting at North Carolina Waterfront Bar

A man previously known as Sean DeBevoise, now identified as Nigel Edge, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of murder and assault after a shooting incident at a waterfront bar in North Carolina. The attack, described as highly premeditated, resulted in three deaths and several injuries. Edge, a former Marine, had changed his name and had accompanied American Idol star Kellie Pickler to the CMT Music Awards in 2012. The suspect, who claims to suffer from PTSD, is being held without bond and is set to appear in court. The victims have not been publicly identified. The suspect had some minor interactions with law enforcement in the past, but nothing to suggest he was capable of such violence.
