Introducing the RTR Spec 5 Mustang: Unleashing Power and Performance

RTR has introduced the Spec 5 Mustang as their new flagship vehicle, with a starting price of $159,999. This model is based on the Mustang GT with the Performance Package and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, HD Race Intercooler system, and Borla cat-back exhaust, resulting in an impressive output of over 870 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. The car can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission.
The Spec 5 Mustang features an RTR tactical performance suspension system with adjustable front coilovers and rear dampers, height-adjustable springs, and adjustable sway bars. It rides on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and equipped with a Brembo braking system with two-piece rotors and six-piston calipers up front. The widebody kit includes unique fenders, bumper extensions, composite rocker panels, a ventilated hood, illuminated grille, and carbon fiber components.
Inside, the cabin of the Spec 5 Mustang boasts RTR-branded Recaro sport seats with cool grey leather bolsters and black suede inners, RTR floor mats, a teardrop-shaped shifter, and a serialized dash plaque with Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s signature. Production of the Spec 5 will be limited to 50 units for the 2026 model year, and the price includes the base Mustang GT. Despite its high price tag, the Spec 5 Mustang offers impressive performance and features at a lower cost than the Shelby Super Snake.
