Wicked: For Good - Final Trailer Revealed with Dorothy's Intriguing Inclusion
Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, Wicked: For Good. The movie continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda, with Glinda trying to boost her popularity in Oz. However, Elphaba returns to reveal the truth about the Wizard. The trailer also teases the songs "No Good Deed" and "For Good," and introduces Dorothy into the mix.
The original Wicked movie followed the unlikely friendship between Glinda and Elphaba, from enemies at Shiz University to best friends. It showcased Glinda's desire to learn magic and Elphaba's quest to meet the Wizard. However, things took a dark turn when Elphaba discovered the Wizard's true intentions and became an outcast in Oz.
Wicked: For Good is the sequel to the 2024 film and brings back the main cast, including Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. However, original actresses Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel will not be returning for the sequel. New photos confirm that Dorothy Gale will play a role in the story, but as a faceless character, allowing fans to envision their own version of Dorothy.
The movie is set to hit theaters on Nov. 21, continuing the magical journey of Elphaba and Glinda in the land of Oz.
