Armada Music Group Launches Innovative Creative Hub in London

Armada Music Group, the renowned independent dance label, has announced the opening of a new creative hub in London. The 7,000-square-foot space located in London’s Old Street features recording studios, event space, listening rooms, and more across six floors. Founded in 2003 by Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis, Armada Music has expanded to include subsidiary labels, a dance investment fund, and a publishing division.
The London hub includes two state-of-the-art recording studios and an event space equipped with a club-grade sound system and live streaming capabilities. It can accommodate approximately 130 people and also features listening rooms for A&R sessions and working space for 60 full-time employees. The decision to establish this space in the U.K., the label’s second-largest market, aims to sign and develop artists on an international scale, leading to increased global streams and the creation of more hits in the UK and worldwide.
Armada Music has seen success with artists like D.O.D and Mason & Superstar, with hits like “So Much In Love” and “Perfect (Exceeder)” respectively. The new creative hub will support international artists on Armada’s roster, including Armin van Buuren, Joris Voorn, Lilly Palmer, THEMBA, and ARTY. Ben Malone, the general manager of Armada Music U.K., views this development as a significant moment for the label and a testament to the vibrant dance music scene in the U.K., empowering them to champion local artists and foster innovation and creativity in the country.
In conclusion, Armada Music Group’s new creative hub in London signifies a strategic move to expand its presence in the U.K. and support artists on an international scale. The state-of-the-art facilities and resources provided at the hub aim to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration among artists, further solidifying Armada’s position in the global dance music industry.
