Sinners: A Supernatural Horror Blues Musical with Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld

"Sinners" is a supernatural horror blues musical directed by Ryan Coogler, featuring Michael B. Jordan in the dual roles of twin gangsters Elijah and Elias Moore. The brothers return to Mississippi Delta during the Depression era and open a juke joint for the Black community, only to be interrupted by bloodthirsty vampires. Hailee Steinfeld plays Mary, Stack's former lover, who gets caught up in the chaos. Despite the gruesome scenes in the R-rated film, Steinfeld found being covered in fake blood to be the most disgusting part of filming. During an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," she revealed that the vegan blood used on set was extremely sticky, causing the actors' limbs to stick together. Despite the challenges, Steinfeld praised the makeup and special effects teams for their incredible work bringing the undead characters to life in "Sinners."
