Anaheim Ducks vs. Los Angeles Kings: 2025 Preseason Opener at Toyota Arena
The Anaheim Ducks kick off their 2025 preseason against the Los Angeles Kings at Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif. The Empire Classic game is set to start at 3:00pm PT, marking the first of seven exhibition games for the Ducks, all taking place in California. Four of these games will be against the Kings, with the Ducks hosting the Kings at Honda Center on Sept. 24.
Joel Quenneville, the Ducks' new head coach, will make his preseason debut in today's game after starting the team's training camp this week. With an impressive coaching record that includes three Stanley Cup championships, Quenneville brings a wealth of experience to the Ducks. Players like Ryan Strome are eager to learn from him and make the most of his coaching expertise.
Among the Ducks' new additions are 2024 first-round draft picks Beckett Sennecke and Stian Solberg, as well as prospects Tristan Luneau and Yegor Sidorov.
