Threat Against Morrissey at CityFolk Festival: Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
Morrissey recently headlined the CityFolk festival in Ottawa, Canada, where an alleged threat was made against him. The threat, posted on Bluesky under the account name “guy who gets shot in the head one hundred thousand times a day,” targeted Morrissey's performance at TD Place on September 12th, 2025. The post detailed a plan to shoot Morrissey with an illegally owned gun during the show. Following the incident, 26-year-old Noah Castellano was arrested and released on $5,000 bail. Castellano chose not to comment on the charge when approached by Ottawa Citizen.
