Rock Legends Unite: Aerosmith's New EP 'One More Time' with Yungblud and Mark Schwartz
Aerosmith may have wrapped up their touring days, but their music journey continues with a new collaborative EP titled One More Time. Teaming up with Yungblud and producer Mark Schwartz, the EP is set to release on Nov. 21, featuring the lead single "My Only Angel" available now. The project stemmed from Yungblud's initial collaboration with Aerosmith on his track "Hello Heaven, Hello," leading to the creation of four original songs and a fresh mix of the Aerosmith classic "Back in the Saddle."
Yungblud recently shared the stage with Aerosmith members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt at the MTV Video Music Awards to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Aerosmith's touring hiatus began in 2023 when Tyler suffered a vocal injury, prompting the band to announce their retirement from the road. Despite this, Tyler has made appearances at special events, showcasing his vocal prowess, while Perry has been touring with a revamped Joe Perry Project lineup.
The studio sessions for One More Time saw Tyler, Perry, Whitford, and Hamilton reunite, with Matt Sorum stepping in for drummer Joey Kramer. The possibility of a final Aerosmith concert remains uncertain, with Perry hinting at the potential for another gig in the future. As fans eagerly await what lies ahead for the iconic rock band, the release of One More Time promises a fresh chapter in Aerosmith's storied legacy.
