Phoenix Collegiate Secondary School Students Shine at F24 Race: A Triumph of STEM Education and Collaboration

Phoenix Collegiate Secondary School students recently participated in the F24 Race at Aintree, a national STEM initiative organized by Greenpower and sponsored by the Royal Navy. The team, consisting of five current students and two former pupils, dedicated two years to constructing their electric race car from a kit. With the support of sponsors The Hadley Group and the University of Wolverhampton, the team was well-equipped for the competition. They completed 34 laps with an impressive fastest lap time of 4 minutes and 17 seconds, showcasing their technical skills and determination. This collaboration between schools, industry, and higher education emphasizes the importance of inspiring the next generation of engineers and innovators.
