Circle Chart Official Certifications: TXT, NCT DREAM, TWICE, and More Achieve Platinum and Million Certifications

Circle Chart, previously known as Gaon Chart, has recently revealed its latest official certifications. The Korea Music Content Industry Association introduced a new certification system in 2018 for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Under this system, albums are certified platinum when they reach 250,000 sales, with a "million" certification awarded to albums that sell a million copies or more.

TXT achieved a million certification for their album "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" by selling over 1 million copies. NCT DREAM's album "Go Back To The Future" received a triple platinum certification for surpassing 750,000 copies sold. TWICE's "THIS IS FOR," NCT's Mark's "The Firstfruit," and Stray Kids' "Clé : LEVANTER" were all certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each.

THE BOYZ's "a;effect," BTS's "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE," WayV's "BIG BANDS," and Super Junior's "Super Junior25" achieved platinum certification for selling over 250,000 copies each. In the streaming category, aespa's "Whiplash," NewJeans' "How Sweet," Eclipse's "Sudden Shower" (from "Lovely Runner"), DAY6's "Welcome to the Show," and BTOB's Changsub's "Heavenly Fate" were all certified platinum for reaching 100 million streams each.
