SEGA's Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - A Kart Racing Game with a Nostalgic Twist
SEGA is set to launch a new game called “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” next week, a kart racing game featuring a unique ‘CrossWorld’ mechanic that transports racers to different tracks during races. A new ad for the game has been unveiled, reminiscent of SEGA’s 1990s rivalry with Nintendo in the gaming console market. The ad highlights the game’s traditional karting structure compared to the open-world approach of a recent Nintendo Switch 2 title. Both ads share the slogan “welcome to the next level” and end with a racer shouting ‘SEGA!’. “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” will be available on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, on September 25th, with a Switch 2 version expected later this year.
