Introducing the Apple AirPods Pro 3: Enhanced Features and U2 Chip Tracking

Apple has recently unveiled the AirPods Pro 3 during their 'Awe Dropping' event on September 9. These new AirPods come with a range of exciting features, including the U2 chip, which is an upgrade from the U1 chip used in the previous AirPods Pro 2. The U2 chip offers a location-tracking range of up to 60m (200 ft), making it easier for users to find their AirPods if they misplace them. The Find My app on the iPhone also supports Precision Finding for locating nearby lost AirPods.
The U2 chip is integrated into the case of the AirPods Pro 3, so the extended tracking range cannot be utilized for individual earbuds. Apple users who are familiar with AirTags, which help locate items through the Find My app, will be pleased to know that Apple plans to introduce the U2 chip in the upcoming AirTag 2. This upgrade will enhance the tracking capabilities of the AirTag, making it easier to locate belongings.
In addition to the U2 chip, the AirPods Pro 3 boast new features such as a heart rate monitor for accurate workout monitoring without the need for an Apple Watch. Live Translation is another exciting feature that allows real-time conversation in different languages when both individuals are wearing AirPods. However, this feature will not be available to users in the European Union (EU).
The AirPods Pro 3 are priced at Rs 25,900 in India and are currently available for pre-order on Apple's official website. The official release date for the AirPods Pro 3 in India is set for Friday, September 19, coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 17 series, iPhone Air, and new Apple Watch devices. With its advanced features and enhanced tracking capabilities, the AirPods Pro 3 are sure to be a popular choice among Apple users.
