U.S. Amputee Soccer Cup Returns to New England: A Showcase of Skill and Inspiration

The U.S. Amputee Soccer Cup has returned to New England, featuring athletes from all over the country demonstrating their skills. Nicoli Calabria, the founder of the New England Revolution Amputee Soccer Team, described the sport as the "fastest on one leg." The New England Amputee Soccer Team, with four members, including U.S. Captain Calabria, recently helped the National Team qualify for the 2026 Amputee World Cup and is aiming to reclaim the trophy after winning the inaugural tournament in 2023.
This year, women's amputee soccer teams will also participate in the event, following Team USA's impressive second-place finish at the first Women's Amputee World Cup in November. In addition to the competition, the weekend in Weymouth will feature youth clinics, community activities, and a festive atmosphere.
The U.S. Amputee Soccer Cup in New England is a celebration of the growth of amputee soccer in the United States, bringing together athletes from across the country to compete and showcase their skills. With the National Team's recent qualification for the 2026 Amputee World Cup and the inclusion of women's teams in the event, the competition promises to be exciting and inspiring for all participants and spectators alike.
