The news was shared by Nicole Kidman on her Instagram account, where she posted a video of herself and Sandra Bullock walking hand in hand into the sunset. The film is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026.

Fans got a glimpse of the movie earlier in July when Kidman teased the return of the iconic Owens sisters with a post on social media. Joining Kidman and Bullock in the sequel are Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, reprising their roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny.
