Dolly Romijn: A Rising Star in the Making
Rebecca Romijn shared in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that her daughter, Dolly, is interested in pursuing a career in Hollywood. Dolly, one of Romijn's twin daughters with actor Jerry O'Connell, aspires to be an actor and director. During a visit to the Star Trek set, Dolly had the opportunity to shadow director Sharon Lewis and even called out "action" and "cut" during filming, much to her mother's amusement. Romijn mentioned that Dolly has a deep appreciation for the magic of being on set, a sentiment she shares with her parents.
Romijn explained that Dolly's twin sister, Charlie, has different interests and prefers to relax in the trailer and enjoy craft services while her sister is on set. Despite their contrasting passions, Romijn expressed her love for both daughters and appreciates the diversity of their interests. When not on set, Romijn and her family enjoy watching Dolly and Charlie play varsity volleyball at their high school, a sport they have excelled in.
Romijn humorously mentioned that O'Connell's enthusiastic support for their daughters during volleyball games has led to them being playfully banned by the girls. She emphasized that O'Connell's vocal encouragement is always positive and serves as his outlet. Romijn acknowledged her own laughter during the games and joked about her lack of control over O'Connell's exuberance. The family enjoys spending time together, both on and off the set, embracing the different passions and dynamics that each member brings to their lives.
