Traffic Advisory: Plan Your Route for the Morgan Wallen Concerts at Commonwealth Stadium

If you are planning to travel near Commonwealth Stadium this weekend, it is recommended to find an alternate route. The Edmonton Police Service is advising drivers to avoid the area on Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13, due to the Morgan Wallen concerts. Traffic is expected to be impacted between 3:30 p.m. and midnight, with Stadium Road closed between 92nd Street and 112th Avenue during those hours.
The double-header event featuring Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, and Brooks & Dunn is expected to draw a large crowd. To ease transportation to the concert, Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) will accept a valid concert ticket as proof of payment on any ETS bus or LRT up to 90 minutes before and after the concert. Riders do not need to tap on or off the Arc validators when using their concert ticket as fare.
For concert-goers driving to the event, Park & Ride locations are available, with a shuttle service running from Churchill Station to Commonwealth Stadium. Regular ETS bus service is also accessible to reach the Park & Ride locations. Buses will operate every five minutes starting at 4 p.m. until the concert begins, and Park & Ride buses will depart from Commonwealth Stadium after the event.
