Taylor Swift is set to release her 12th studio album, titled "The Life of a Showgirl," in October. Fans can start streaming the album at 12 a.m. on Oct. 3, with Target stores across the nation opening at midnight for fans to purchase physical copies. In Vermont, only one Target store will participate in the midnight album release, offering three special-edition Target CDs for sale.

"The Life of a Showgirl" was announced by Taylor Swift last month, shortly before she shared news of her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce on social media. The album will feature 12 songs, including a track with Sabrina Carpenter, who previously opened for Swift on the Eras Tour. Swift revealed on the "New Heights" podcast that the album's theme revolves around the behind-the-scenes experiences of the Eras Tour, with the artwork symbolizing the end of her night.

Exclusive versions of the album, including limited edition CDs and vinyl records, are available for pre-order on Swift's website. The Target-exclusive CDs will come with an eight-page lyric booklet and exclusive posters.
