Hulu has released the official trailer for its upcoming limited series centered around the Murdaugh Murders, created by Michael D. Fuller and Erin Lee Carr. Titled "Murdaugh: Death in the Family," the show features Jason Clarke and Patricia Arquette as Alex and Maggie Murdaugh. The eight-episode series will debut on October 15 with three initial episodes, followed by weekly releases until the season finale on November 19. Based on the Murdaugh Murders podcast, the series follows the Murdaugh family, particularly Alex and Maggie, as they navigate a crisis involving their son Paul after a fatal boat accident. As the story unfolds, the family's ties to mysterious deaths come to light, posing challenges that threaten their legacy. The cast includes Will Harrison, Brittany Snow, J. Smith-Cameron, Gerald McRaney, and Noah Emmerich. Executive producers include Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, Mandy Matney, David Moses, and Bill Johnson, with Steven Piet directing select episodes. Arquette and Clarke also serve as executive producers. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio behind the series.
