WINGS Anthology: A Comprehensive Collection of Hits and Remastered Tracks
Wings is set to release a new anthology on November 7, overseen by Paul McCartney. The compilation will be available in various formats, including 3 x LP Limited Edition Colour Vinyl, 2 x CD edition, and 1 x CD and 1 x LP editions. Each physical format will include a booklet with an introduction from McCartney. The 3 x LP and 2 x CD editions will feature an expanded 32-page booklet with photographs, artwork, paintings, and band information. The artwork for the anthology was supervised by McCartney and Aubrey 'Po' Powell of Hipgnosis, with additional editorial by Pete Paphides and original artwork by Humphrey Ocean.
The Blu-ray version of WINGS will mark the first time Wings songs are available in Dolby Atmos on a physical format. The track listings for the anthology include a mix of remastered songs such as "Band on the Run," "Hi, Hi, Hi," "Silly Love Songs," "Letting Go," and many more. The anthology will be available in different configurations to cater to various preferences, including a 3LP/2CD/Blu-ray/Digital version and a 1LP/1CD/Digital version.
