Disciplinary Actions Following Leagues Cup 2025 Final: Suárez Suspended, Lenhart's Credential Revoked
Following the conclusion of the Leagues Cup 2025 Final between Seattle Sounders FC and Inter Miami CF, Major League Soccer has announced disciplinary actions. Inter Miami forward Luis Suárez has been suspended for three MLS regular-season games. The suspension will take place on specific match dates. Additionally, Steven Lenhart, a staff member of Sounders FC, has had his credential privileges revoked for the remainder of the 2025 MLS regular season and postseason. Lenhart's access will be limited to public seating areas during home matches and he will not be allowed near the field, locker rooms, or tunnel. Seattle Sounders FC has also been fined for misappropriation of credentials.
