2025 Country Music Association Awards Nominations Announced: Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson Lead the Pack
The 2025 Country Music Association Awards nominations have been announced, with Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson leading the pack with six nods each. The coveted CMA entertainer of the year category includes Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson. Other top nominees include Zach Top with five nods, and Riley Green and Johnson with four nominations. Several artists received three nods, such as Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, Combs, Charlie Handsome, Stapleton, and Wallen.
The 59th annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 19 on ABC and the following day on Hulu. The awards are nominated and voted on by members of the Country Music Association, including music executives, artists, publicists, songwriters, and other industry professionals. Ella Langley's nominations span various categories, including single, song, and music video of the year for her collaboration with Riley Green on "you look like you love me." Megan Moroney is recognized for her project "Am I Okay?" with nods in single, album, song, and music video of the year, as well as female vocalist and musical event of the year. Lainey Wilson's nominations include entertainer of the year, single and song of the year, album of the year, female vocalist of the year, and music video.
In addition to Langley, Moroney, and Wilson, other nominees for single of the year are Luke Combs with "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma" and Zach Top with "I Never Lie." The new artist of the year category features nominees such as Langley, Shaboozey, Top, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr. Notable first-time nominees for the 2025 CMA Awards include Johnny Clawson, Jon Decious, Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Dorr, Alexandra Gavillet, Lalo Guzman, Jimmy Harnen, Brandon Lake, Micah Nichols, John Park, Aaron Raitiere, Matt Rovey, Kyle Sturrock, Wales Toney, Wetmore, and Wilson Jr.
