Becky Hammon: Leading the Las Vegas Aces to Success in the WNBA

Becky Hammon, the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces, has achieved great success in the WNBA, winning two championships. Recently, the Aces have been on a remarkable winning streak, moving up to the second spot in the league standings after a 12-1 run. Currently, the team is enjoying a thirteen-game winning streak.

Hammon, a former point guard, had her jersey retired at the Frost Bank Center, making her the only player outside of the San Antonio Spurs to receive this honor. After retiring as a player in 2014, she transitioned to coaching and worked alongside Pop with the Spurs. In 2022, she took on the role of head coach for the Las Vegas Aces and led the team to consecutive titles.
