Springsteen Unveils Expanded 'Nebraska '82' Box Set with Rare Electric Versions

Bruce Springsteen is set to release a new comprehensive box set that includes an electric version of his iconic album "Nebraska." The box set also features a previously unreleased version of "Born in the USA," recorded in 1982 with only Max Weinberg and Garry Tallent from The E Street Band. The songs on "Nebraska" were originally intended as demos for the band but were later recorded solo-acoustically by Springsteen. Despite denying the existence of an electric version of the songs, Springsteen has now decided to share them with fans. The expanded edition of "Nebraska '82" will be available on October 17, just before the premiere of the Springsteen biography film "Deliver me from nowhere," directed by Scott Cooper. The movie showcases Springsteen's creative journey during the "Nebraska" era, with Jeremy Allen White portraying Springsteen and Jeremy Strong playing the role of producer Jon Landau.
