Operation Obstacle: Race for Veteran Suicide Awareness at Richland Community College
Join us for the fifth annual Operation Obstacle event at Richland Community College in Decatur on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. This event aims to raise awareness of veteran suicide by challenging participants to race through obstacles. Check-in and same-day registration will be open from 8:30-9:30 a.m., followed by a welcome ceremony at 10 a.m. The race will kick off at 10:15 a.m., and online registration is available until 9:30 a.m. on race day. Participants can choose to take part in a non-competitive fun run, allowing them to jog, walk, or skip obstacles. T-shirts can be purchased for $20 during registration until Sept. 14. The obstacle course features 15 to 20 challenges, including carrying objects, army net crawls, and navigating various obstacles.
