Bella Donna: Stevie Nicks' Chart-Topping Solo Debut and Tour Update

On September 5, 1981, Stevie Nicks, a member of Fleetwood Mac, achieved chart-topping success with her first solo album, Bella Donna. Produced by Tom Petty and Jimmy Iovine, the album featured four popular singles. The highest-charting single was "Stop Draggin My Heart Around," a collaboration with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, reaching #3 on the charts.
Among the other hit singles from Bella Donna were "Leather and Lace," a duet with Don Henley, peaking at #6; "Edge of Seventeen," which reached #11; and "After the Glitter Fades," which peaked at #32. The album remained on the Billboard 200 Albums chart for nearly three years and has been certified quadruple Platinum by the RIAA.
In August, Stevie Nicks had to postpone some tour dates due to a shoulder injury. She is set to resume her tour on October 1 in Portland, Oregon. For a complete list of tour dates, visit StevieNicksOfficial.com.
