FilmQuest, a renowned film festival specializing in sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres, has unveiled its lineup for the upcoming 2025 edition. The festival will run from October 23 to November 1 in Downtown Provo, Utah. This year's lineup features a diverse selection of features and short films from notable filmmakers and stars such as Ryuhei Kitamura, Lena Headey, Georgina Campbell, Jon Heder, and more.
According to Festival Founder and Director Jonathan Martin, FilmQuest has solidified its reputation as one of the premier genre film festivals globally, known for its exceptional programming and growing community. The festival, situated in the picturesque Downtown Provo, Utah, has garnered attention within the industry for its unique offerings and vibrant atmosphere.
Among the world premieres at this year's festival are Ryuhei Kitamura's action horror thriller "Labyrinth," Jaco Bouwer's sci-fi thriller "Orion," Donnie Hobbie's rock n' roll horror flick "Jump Scare," and Zoe Berriatúa's Spanish dark comedy thriller "Buffet Libre."
