Creepshow Series Finale: A Look Back at the Horror Anthology's Legacy

The horror anthology series "Creepshow" on Shudder has come to an end after four seasons. The show, created by Greg Nicotero, concluded in 2023 with a total of 23 episodes and two specials. While the network did not officially announce the end of the series, it was always planned to run for four seasons. To console fans, a Blu-Ray box set titled "Creepshow Complete Series" will be released on Nov. 11.
"Creepshow" was inspired by the 1982 film of the same name by Stephen King and George A. Romero. The series featured a mix of original stories and adaptations from various authors, including King, Joe Hill, and more. Directors like Joe Lynch, John Harrison, and David Bruckner contributed to the show's episodes. Greg Nicotero, known for his work on "The Walking Dead," expressed his love for the original "Creepshow" and was thrilled to continue its legacy with the series.
Despite the end of "Creepshow," Greg Nicotero has a new project in the works with Shudder. His upcoming reality competition show, "Guts & Glory," is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 9. Fans of horror and Nicotero's work can look forward to this new venture on the streaming platform.
