Unleash the Speed: HOT ROD Drag Week 2025 Showdown
Get ready for the thrilling competition to determine the "Fastest Street Car in America" at HOT ROD Drag Week 2025, Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive. This exciting event will take place in four cities over one month, starting at the Maryland International Raceway and continuing to Numidia Dragway in Numidia, PA, Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA, and Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, MD from Sunday, Sept. 14 through Friday, Sept. 19.
HOT ROD Drag Week is known as the toughest competition to find the ultimate street-legal drag car. Participants face a challenging test over five days of intense drag racing, driving their vehicles on a designated route spanning approximately 1,000 miles. The goal is to achieve the fastest elapsed time across the five days, all while adhering to the specified route and providing photographic evidence of compliance.
Top racers from around the country come together to compete in Drag Week each year, often forming alliances to support each other throughout the demanding week. The event schedule includes registration, tech inspection, and test 'n' tune sessions from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, with racing hours running from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, culminating in the final race day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Spectator tickets will be available at each track for $20, with free admission for children 12 and under accompanied by a paid adult.
