Experience the Magic: Tedeschi Trucks Band's Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited Tour with Gov't Mule

Tedeschi Trucks Band, led by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, is gearing up for a series of co-headlining tour dates with Warren Haynes' Gov't Mule. The band recently released a new pro-shot video of their performance of "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" by The Beatles from a memorable set ten years ago. This song is part of their upcoming live album, Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN') with Leon Russell, set to be released on September 12th via Fantasy Records. The album captures their tribute to the iconic 1970 Joe Cocker tour, known for its large ensemble and helmed by Russell as musical director.
The video showcases a performance at Virginia's LOCKN' Festival in September 2015, where Tedeschi Trucks Band, along with Warren Haynes and Anders Osborne, paid homage to the Abbey Road deep cut. The stage was filled with over 20 musicians, echoing the communal spirit of the original Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour. The concert featured a lineup of special guests, including Rita Coolidge, Claudia Lennear, Chris Stainton, Chris Robinson, and Dave Mason, among others, performing hits like "The Letter," "Feelin' Alright," "The Weight," and more.
Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN') serves as the audio companion to TTB's documentary, Learning to Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen (2021). The film offers a unique perspective on the tour, blending archival footage with new interviews and performances from the tribute set. The band's North American Live in '25 Tour, produced by Live Nation, continues with upcoming co-headline dates with Whiskey Myers and Gov't Mule, as well as special guests like Steve Winwood, Little Feat, and Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel.
