Ahsoka Season 2: Ivanna Sakhno Teases Dynamic Shifts and New Characters

Ivanna Sakhno recently discussed her involvement in Ahsoka Season 2, shedding light on what viewers can anticipate in the upcoming episodes. During a recent interview, she shared behind-the-scenes details and hinted at the shifting dynamics among key characters as filming progresses.

In a conversation with The Direct while promoting M3GAN 2.0, Sakhno mentioned her frequent interactions with Rory, indicating that their characters will share many scenes together. Following Ray Stevenson's passing in May 2023, Lucasfilm cast Rory McCann as Baylan to ensure the character's storyline continues.

Sakhno praised McCann's performance, describing him as a valuable addition to the cast. She emphasized his talent and suitability for the role, expressing gratitude for having him on board. The ongoing production of Season 2 is taking place in London, with Sakhno and McCann actively filming.

The upcoming season will feature the return of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn. The storyline will pick up with Ahsoka and Sabine stranded on Peridea, while Thrawn has reappeared in the main Star Wars galaxy.

Sakhno's Shin Hati and McCann's Baylan Skoll will play pivotal roles as the new Force-wielding adversaries driving the narrative forward. Season 2 will delve into their motivations for journeying to Peridea, while Ahsoka and her allies strive to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Ezra Bridger and the New Republic face Thrawn's escalating power without immediate support from Ahsoka.

Dave Filoni's Ahsoka Season 2 is slated for a Disney+ release in 2026. The highly anticipated season promises to deliver thrilling developments and compelling character arcs for fans to enjoy.
