Uncover the Truth: FX's "The Lowdown" Trailer Breakdown

FX has released the official trailer for its new series "The Lowdown," set in Tulsa and starring Ethan Hawke. The show follows Lee Raybon, a citizen journalist who is obsessed with uncovering the truth and often finds himself in trouble. Lee's investigations lead him into the dark side of Tulsa, away from his daughter Francis, who wants to join him. His ex Samantha supports him despite his relentless pursuit of the truth.

Lee's latest expose involves the powerful Washberg family, and after the suspicious suicide of Dale Washberg, Lee delves deeper into the family's secrets. The series also features Jeanne Tripplehorn as Dale's widow, Kyle MacLachlan as Dale's brother and gubernatorial candidate Donald, and Keith David as a mysterious stranger intrigued by Lee's investigation.

"The Lowdown" is executive produced by Hawke, Sterlin Harjo, Garrett Basch, and Ryan Hawke. The series will premiere on FX on September 23rd and will be available internationally on Disney+.
